Girls Islamic Organization established on March 4, 1984 is the sole organization in whole India having girls of 13 to 25 age group. It functions under the supervision of Jamaat-e-islami Hind. GIO as well as JIH realizes the potential of womenfolk in molding the society's future. GIO also intends to uplift the girls and enhance their power of action and reaction. GIO realizes that it is from the girls themselves the voices for safety and security should arise.
